Eleanor Mililani Patnaude-Hatakenaka, 75, of Hilo, died March 26 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Dec. 5, 1936, in Hilo, she was a retired housekeeper for the Life Care Center of Hilo. She was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kilauea Ward, and the former Waiakea Houselots Kumiai.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. April 6 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kilauea Ward, 522 Ponahawai Street in Hilo, where a funeral service begins at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. The family requests casual attire be worn.

She is survived by stepdaughters, June (James) Hodgins, of Waimea, Patricia Ann (Roderic) Tsuda, of Pearl City, Oahu; sisters, Hattie Lei Ashley, of North Carolina, Ethel Cook, of Maryland; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; one great-great-grandchild.
